Apologies :( & FREE Stuff! :D

Happy … Black Friday??!! Greetings! I hope those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving had a fantastic holiday and that you’re fully recovered from whatever food coma you may have experienced. We don’t celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday here in Jamaica, so it was a regular work day (and night) for me. Thursday is my busiest work day, so much so that it’s 3:06 in the morning and I’m only taking a break from work so I can draft this message, and then it’s back to the grind for me! It's been a while since I updated this blog. In the newsletter I sent to my mailing list (are you on it? You should be) last time around, I shared that I expected my next novel, His Last Resort to be ready for release by Thanksgiving. You can probably tell that that didn't happen according to plan. As my mother always says, “Circumstances alter cases,” and I took the decision not to release the novel just yet. The truth is, His Last Resort is just about ready, but I’m still unsure whether or not I should publish it as Book 1 in the His Last Hope Series, knowing that I’m still trying to figure out Book 2. Ideally, I’d love to publish them one after the other so that you don’t have to wait another 18 months for the next one, but that’s causing a bit of a challenge because His Last Name (Book 2) isn’t quite coming together as I’d like. I’m praying that the Lord will show me how to bring the project to completion in a way that will bring Him glory while it blesses you in the same way His Last Hope did. So… since I’ve had to break my promise, I’ve been racking my brain, trying to figure out how to make it up to you. And I came up with a plan. How would you like a few FREE gifts over the next month or so? If you stick with me, I’ll be offering you THREE FREE GIFTS between now and Christmas. It’s my way of saying sorry for disappointing you by delaying my next release. I won’t be sharing too many details about the free gifts here, but suffice it to say, you’ll definitely want to open the next couple of emails I send out. So… I can hear you asking… when can we expect Free Gift #1? Well, it’s available right now, and it’s time-sensitive, so you better go pick it up this very minute. I’ve decided to make the Kindle edition of my first children’s book, So very… Max! FREE! But hurry! This offer expires at 11:59 p.m. PST on Saturday, November 26. Pick up your FREE Kindle copy before it’s gone for good.

One Amazon reader says So very... Max! is a "delightful read [that] holds an invaluable life lesson for children…and adults." What will the child in your life say about what another reviewer describes as a fun story"? Visit with Max and the other foals on the horse farm and find out how Max learns to appreciate himself for who he is, especially because he's so very... different from everyone else!

You don’t need a Kindle to read Kindle books like So very… Max! Just go to your app store, download the FREE Kindle app to your computer or mobile device, sign up for a FREE Amazon account, and go get your FREE copy of So very… Max! before it returns to its regular low price. Lots of authors offer great books for free, and if you sign up for a mailing list like The Fussy Librarian or BookBub, you'll get free offers coming to your inbox just about every day. I have way too many books in my Kindle library right now, but I keep adding more. And shifting gears... did you know that you can send copies of Kindle books to other readers as gifts? Just look for the option on any Kindle book’s Amazon page. You can even choose a date for the Kindle gift to be delivered to the recipient’s account! Check it out today; it's a great option for inexpensive Christmas gifts. I’ve got to head back to work now, but remember to look out for two more emails from me between now and Christmas. So very... Max! is free for everyone until November 26, but the next two FREE gifts will be available EXCLUSIVELY for my mailing list subscribers. If you're not on the list yet, you can sign up by clicking right here. Have a great weekend! Blessings!
